MAKING CENTS š°ļø
Check Every Bill!
Short and Sweet: How often do you look at your receipts? I mean really look at them? Because you could be paying for goods and services you didnāt buy. Technology isnāt infallible, and humans neither are humans, so mistakes happen more than you might think.
Donāt pay more than you should - take thirty seconds and go through that bill.

O.F.T - One Final Thought

After almost getting tricked into an optional charge at the car dealership, I am committed to paying attention to detail when it comes to bills and receipts. Do I think this will make a big difference in my quest to build wealth? Nah, definitely not. But no one ever wants to pay for something they didnāt receive, and a few extra bucks here and there never hurt anyone.
Plus, these 30 seconds post-checkout can help you build strong attention-to-detail habits that could be more valuable elsewhere.

NETWORKING HACK š¤
OTF ORIGINAL: Remember āP-E-Gā At Your Next Event!
Good communication is about much more than what you say. Itās also about how you say it and how you present yourself (those non-verbal cues), and using this PEG framework helps keep my networking game sharp. To that end, here are three small things to remember the next time youāre networking:
P = Posture
E = Expression
G = Gut

Posture: The way you stand, sit, and move tells people how confident and engaged you are.
Real-world example: Youāre at a work event, and two people approach youā one is slouched, looking at the floor; the other stands up straight, shoulders back, maintaining eye contact from the moment you connect. Who would you want to work with?
Takeaway: Always think about your posture when making that all-important first impression. šŖ
Expression: Your facial expressions say a lot, even when youāre not talking. The right one can draw people in; the wrong one can push people away.
Real-world example: Ever been in a conversation where someoneās face is blank and unengaged? Itās awkward AF. Letās not be that person. Instead, be the person who makes the speaker feel heard. Nod, smile, and react accordingly. Send the message that youāre a good listener, and people will want to keep talking to you.
Takeaway: Let your facial expressions and non-verbal cues say more than your words ever could. šŗ
Gut: Trust your gut.
Real-world example: Youāre talking to someone and instinctively think to yourself, This isnāt the sort of connection Iām looking for. Instead of seeing it through, trust that gut of yours. Save time and network more efficiently.
Takeaway: Your brain can process a lot of information in a short amount of time. When you find yourself wondering, āShould I share this?ā or āShould I stick around?ā listen to your instincts and act accordingly. š¤
