Why You Should Take Advantage of Amazon Prime Day(s)
Short and Sweet: Prime Day is here July 16th and 17th - itās like the Black Friday of summer. Not much else to say other than - youāre gonna buy things on Amazon, anyway. Why not take advantage of the savings?
Why It Matters: Because itās more money in your pocket!
Breaking Down: The Benefits of Amazon Prime Day
Savings, Duh: This is probably the one reason haha. Itās the time to grab that pricey gadget youāve been waiting for. From tech to home decor, everythingās up for grabs at prices that wonāt be there the next time you look. (Remember, though - only buy things you would buy anyway. To me, it shouldnāt be an excuse for frivolous spendingā¦)
Early Christmas Gifts, Anyone!? Take full advantage of the deals by planning ahead - upcoming birthdays, anniversaries, even Christmas! More than saving money, youāll feel relief when those gift-giving occasions roll around that youāve already done your shopping.
Workin With AI š¦¾
Letās begin the way we usually do when discussing AI - if youāre interested in deeper dives into the world of artificial intelligence, we strongly recommend Superhuman. It is the main way we at OTF stay informed on a topic that, letās face it, will soon take over the world.
In their most recent edition, a sponsor was a tool called Fathom. Hereās the write-up:

Step 1: Start here.
Step 2: Log in with Google or Microsoft account.
Step 3: Give permissions to access calendars
Itās all pretty self-explanatory, to the point where you almost certainly didnāt need those first three steps š¤£
But itās FREE (and promises to stay that way - weāll see if that holds true) and estimates saving 20 minutes of work per meeting. WIN-WIN!
The Search Bar š
As of 10:00 AM on Sunday, 7/14:
MOST POPULAR PRODUCT ON AMAZON (July 2024): FIRE PITS - Itās been pretty hot everywhere, but this is a prime opportunity to plan ahead for those soon-to-arrive cool summer nights. For more hot items and top retail news, click here.
MOST INNOVATIVE COMPANIES (posted 6/20/24): This post ranks the five most innovative companies in the world, with OpenAI leading the way and Meta rounding out the Top 5.
One of the reasons we do The Search Bar is because knowing whatās popular or trending can help spark ideas for the next innovation, whether thatās a product or a business, but we can also learn from the companies at the forefront of this pursuit. Click above to do just that.
TRENDING DEALS (updates regularly): Visit Dealnews.com for the top trending deals from across the Internet. At the time of this writing, the Samsung AI Smart Ring is calling out to meā¦

2 DO: Prime Day Edition š¤
Before you go crazy smashing Add to Cart, consider the following:
1. Plan Out Your Prime Day Purchases
We are all about responsible spending here. We also understand the temptation that presents itself on Prime Day, Black Friday, etc. So this week, before you go on a spree, take the time to reflect on what you need and whatās at the top of your wants, and then act accordingly. Going in with a plan will help you make responsible decisions.
2. Review Your Finances
In the past, weāve talked about regular āauditsā of your bank accounts, credit cards, etc. If you havenāt done that recently, we strongly recommend doing so prior to any big-deal spending.
Donāt just look at what youāve recently spent, or the amount thatās sitting in your account. Be sure to also consider upcoming expenses (bills, planned vacations, etc.)
